Seeing well does not mean that all is well
On the occasion of World Sight Day, October 13, we talked about the relationship between diabetes and vision with Rufino Silva, ophthalmologist at the Coimbra Hospital and University Center, professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Coimbra, and president of the Portuguese Society of Ophthalmology.
Among the several problems that can affect vision is diabetes, a disease that affects more than one million Portuguese, according to data from the National Diabetes Observatory.
